The Alhambra in Granada is the most important monumental complex in Andalusia. UNESCO has declared it a World Heritage Site since 1984. A great place to photograph the Alhambra from outside is the Mirador de San Nicholás, a small panoramic square in the historic Albaicin district.
Torre del Oro (English: Tower of Gold) is a watchtower built in 1221 to guard the Guadalquivir river in Seville. Probably its name refers to his golden glow reflected on the river. Today it houses the Naval Museum of the city.
