I miss the sea. Alas, at the moment I can only see it on photographs. So I re-edited a photo I took nine years ago. I was in Scala dei Turchi, on the southern coast of Sicily. This time I edited it in black and white. Small solace.

This photo was taken three years ago. I was in Siracusa (Syracuse) in Sicily and the picture shows the seafront of Ortigia at first light of the day. Now I decided to re-edit  this image in a different way. It seems to me that this new version better conveys the atmosphere of the upcoming sunrise. Compare it with the first version of this Image.

The Sun in the Net

So there! Finally, the sun rises from the quiet waters of the Adriatic Sea. It was a beautiful morning with no wind. The sea was calm. I moved a few steps to place the sun right behind the fishing net of the Trabocco Pesce Palombo in Fossacesia. So that the sun truly seems caught in the net.
