Here we are. The year is ending. I reviewed my photos of 2019 and selected my favorites.
I chose these 3 photographs:
The surreal one
At the end of February I visited Lake Iseo, a pre-Alpine lake in northern Italy. A small island on the lake caught my attention. The haze made the scenery unreal, like a mirage.
The timeless one
In June I was in Morano Calabro, southern Italy. I got up early to photograph this ancient village at sunrise. The town is built around a hill one house above the other, pyramid-shaped.
The coastal one
In early November I photographed the trabocco Turchino, a fishing facility connected to the coast by a footbridge. I like this wooden structures constantly exposed to the destructive power of the sea.
Happy New Year 2020!
