Cortona, Tuscany

Cortona is a pleasant and well-kept medieval hill town in Tuscany. I was there in late June. The summer heat was tempered by the altitude of the town. To have fun, I just had to wander around aimlessly through its steep and scenic alleys. And then, at the end of my wandering, I always used to enjoy a tasty and refreshing Gelato seated on the steps while watching the comings and goings on the Piazza.

Cortona really looks like an Italian village with history. I really like your photos of the city, they make it look so lively 🙂

Thank you Debra. Cortona is a very pleasant village and worth going back from time to time. It is also quite close to Bagni di Lucca.
